A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the reality nevertheless I’ll definitely come back again.

Having moved on from that, I like what I make up about this show (I don’t watch it… so I have to make things up). What I envision are the backyard diving competitions of my youth; all fun and little or no pretense. With that in mind, I couldn’t agree with your last two sentences more.

“I mean, a guy can only take so much.

Instead, I prefer to be entertained. “Live and let dive” Splash’s bi-line claims … and I’m good with that.”

Yep. Entertainment for entertainment’s sake “… with a little humility thrown in for good measure” as stated.

The show had twice as many viewers as Hell’s Kitchen and also beat the DWTS special that followed it. Week two will probably be the deciding factor on its actual shelf life.

I thought the show was well produced and entertaining, but for the love of Pete, let’s stop calling it a competition right now! The “judges” are obviously not judging skill, or Keshia would have still been there. Her dives were “safe” but at least she completed them … unlike Kareem. He got sympathy points for being old and tall, and Louis got sympathy points for being heavy! Their “diving experts” are acting more like star-struck teenage girls (maybe they should have just hired teenage girls to do the judging, because the results would have been the same). Trying to watch this under the guise of it being a competition is not going to work for me if they keep awarding Louie for simply walking up the stairs to the platform. I give him props for even attempting it, but he has to make more of an attempt than just tipping himself off the edge of the platform. And Kareem needs to stick to the higher platforms so he can actually complete a dive. That’s my two-cents of professional diving critique. (See, anyone can be a judge!) I’d give the show a B+ for entertainment and a D for competition.

And we also noticed Joey’s suit, but I found his hair color to be more of a distraction. And did he have a face lift??
