As I was thinking about Favorites when reading, I thought who the hell is Corrine and then there you were basically asking the same question. None of the favorites were my favorites, not one. This season should be Fans vs. Most Annoying and Unrememberables (Yep, I just made up that word…I think). I find that most of the time, I’m embarrassed, not that I’m watching but the people they pick for the show…they just seem so far out of the norm and it isn’t interesting, it’s embarrassing.
Three parts of the show that I still like are the challenges: despite them being recycled there are some goods that are fun to watch. Especially the question and answer and those who get questions right get take “lives” away from other tribe members. That challenge is the most telling and rarely do tribe members use that challenge to change up their game. So frustrating. I wish they had a reward and immunity challenge every episode instead of combining them. Tribal Council: is usually a good time, though I find myself cringing when stupid people start talking. Loved Ones episode: Most of the time, that is when you get to see the person in their natural light which is refreshing. It I always get a little teary-eyed.

If they did one All-Stars season every fifth season or so, that wouldn’t be bad … but I swear if I see another Hantz on the show, I will never watch again. And Lisa Welchel was invited to play this season but didn’t want to be away from her family for that long.

Less than 3 years ago we had Heroes VS Villains which consistently ranks among the top TWO of all Survivor seasons. Sure, we get some duds like One World or Nicaragua – but overall I see a lot of life left in Survivor. And even if the ratings do sink a bit more they can always switch to ONE season a year which should build up even more anticipation when its not on the air. So who else is hoping for the next All-star season to be OLD SCHOOL vs NEW STARS. Like Richard Hatch, Sandra and Boston Rob on one tribe VS Russell, Phillip and Lisa Whelchel. Could be amazing!
