Two more ‘Idol’ episodes remain. And, regardless of the fast approaching end to a tumultuous season, I remain loyal in seeing it through to its conclusion.
The first of the live performances revealed what we already know: The guys need to step it up. Quick step it up. Double time it. *Anything* to get to the level the girls are at. For one guy that’s not going to happen … ’cause there’s a dude leaving come elimination time.
The Top 10 for season 12 come with (relatively) few surprises given the pool of talent offered. I was disappointed one of my picks didn’t make it, however …
The hopefuls among the girls have to be tons better than what we saw offered from the boys on ‘Idol’ this round. At the very least, I’m willing to bet there will be much less drama.
There was a bit of satisfaction in seeing Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey put in their places by a sweet auditionee who won her ticket to Hollywood. Unfortunately, it won’t be remembered by either diva in the long run.
