American Idol is upon us. There’s no denying it, but we can avoid it; there are other TV viewing options on Wednesday nights at 8:00, you know. Yes, most other networks do fear the opposite-Idol timeslot and don’t schedule their good stuff, but this is America and we are free. We’ve also got TV on DVD, our trusty DVRs and heck, we could even read a book or two.

It’s weird. With PUSHING DAISIES off the air and BONES moved to Thursday, Wednesday from 8-9 is the only prime time block from Sunday through Friday for which I don’t have something programmed to record. If only one of the networks would move something from Mondays at 8 to that spot.

Knight Rider is totally underrated. I dare you to watch an entire episode of this without succumbing to total laughter at some point. It’s so stupidly ridiculous that it (accidentally) becomes a completely hilarious show!
C’mon, in one episode they have a computer virus that escapes the computer and is literally running around the office. In another they have the car breaking out of prison by jumping over the wall, picking the dude up, and back again over the wall with another jump! It’s like MST3K, but doesn’t even need commentary because it is *parodying itself*.
I should also mention that this plan requires some fashion of unsobriety… viewer’s choice, of course.
Amen brother. I watch KR for the pure comedy the show provides. Plus Autoblog provides a hilarious running blog so you really can’t go wrong here.

i watched 13 fear is real but with that gone to the friday night death slot *get it?*, i dont watch anything.
