Hung – So, when do we get to see it?

hung_072609_1I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering: when do we get to see this amazing tool of Ray Drecker’s? I find myself staring at that particular part of his anatomy, wondering what’s under those sweatpants, and why doesn’t it look bigger from the outside? And HBO just LOVES to tease us, almost showing us, but then … a towel or table placed strategically in the way. He does have a really nice butt, though.

OK, now that I’ve got that out of the way….

This week’s episode, “The Pickle Jar,” finds the kids at school giving Coach Drecker a pickle jar with $235, which should buy about one-and-a-half beams to help replace his roof. Or so he thought, anyway. That’s very sweet. It shows that he’s a guy the kids like, and trust, and want to help, thus putting him further and further away from any semblance of hooker, or male escort, or whatever you want to call it. Oh, right; Happiness Consultant.

Hmmm … the neighbor’s wife was ogling Ray when he was working on his roof. Does she … know … about his special talent? I see some complications developing there. I mean, her husband isn’t exactly a model of carefree living. She’ll probably be looking to get some on the side, don’t you think?

Ray’s first meeting with Molly, the plump lady who looked like she could be his aunt, was so completely awkward. It took Tanya’s little pep talk to convince Ray that it’s not his job to only have sex with women who appeal to HIM. He’s a happiness consultant, after all. He has to do whomever comes his way. I like how this storyline ended. You could tell that Ray was really starting to get into a groove.

“This might be your first time,” he tells a hesitant Molly, “but this is what I do. I’m a professional. It’s my job to make you forget about your husband. You might have a hard time saying no to him, but I promise you, Molly, you won’t have a hard time saying yes to me.”

I think we’ll see Ray developing a good understanding of what his true purpose in life really is.

A few more quotes:

“How do you keep from shooting yourself?” – Jessica to Ray, upon seeing his burned shell of a home.

“If you ever want to pick out an outfit to match that stick up your ass, give me a call.” – Lenore to Jessica, who just happened to be sitting next to her in the beauty parlor.

“I’ve been a jock, student leader, professional ballplayer, educator … is this really the material from which male prostitutes are made?” – Ray

How long do you suppose it will take until the ex-wife unknowingly hires Ray?

Season 1 finale or season two premiere at the latest.

Ooh, yeah. I see all kinds of possibilities with the ex-wife. I vote for season one finale on her soliciting Ray’s services.

If only it was someone less annoying than Anne Heche. Then again, I guess she’s supposed to be annoying, so good casting there.

Plus he might just be a normalish size when not excited. A grower not a show-er if you will. lol
