Well, the holiday season is upon us. You know this by the broken femur you’re nursing from being trampled in Best Buy while racing for that $48 Blu-Ray DVD. Or, the $80 Dora Talking Kitchen that you bought for the kids that they’ll play with for five minutes, break in the next five, then turn to you and say “What else you got, bub?”
Yes, it’s the time of year that holiday cheer is intravenously force fed into you. And there’s no better example of that than on the LCD flatscreen mounted above your fireplace. So, to help you overdose on sugar, here’s our handy-dandy guide to all things holiday television, from tonight through Christmas Day. Do you know if the Mickey’s Christmas Carol that comes on Tuesday the 8th is the old one with Scrooge McDuck or some new 3D crap one?
*POST AUTHOR*
Sorry ac, I’m not sure.
It’s the 1983 animated version of the Dicken’s clasic with Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit and Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge. The one that was nominated for an Oscar.
Which is, IMHO, the best Christmas special, ever.
I haven’t seen it since it ABC aired it on The Wonderful World of Disney in the 90s. This is exciting. Now if only Obama didn’t move A Charlie Brown Christmas….
Ok, Charlie Brown is up there too. I just get to see that every year, but, like you, haven’t seen Disney’s Scrooge in a long time.
