Glee’s Darren Criss at SDCC

Take a listen to 'Glee' cast member Darren Criss, who talks about what he would like to do on the show and his favororite moments of the past season.

Darren Criss at Comic-Con

I was really looking forward to talking to Darren Criss when I was waiting for the cast in the pressroom of Comic-Con. And he was the first one to plop down next to me at the table. His appearance was very far from the clean cut Blaine we’ve come to know and love.

Hey, he’s young. When on hiatus he wanted to let it all hang out. No big deal.

You’ll see on the tape that I start out the conversation talking about his brainchild, Starkids Productions, and give him greetings from my home state of Michigan. (He went to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. As a side note, as he got up and left after the interview was over he whispered “Go Blue” to me. I automatically said it back. This is the only time you will hear those words leave my lips, as I’m a graduate of rival Michigan State University. I apologize to the Green and White.)

I loved him in A Very Potter Musical and the Sequel (it’s actually the reason I held onto watching Glee season 2 for a little while even when I was kind of done with it. I’m super excited to see the 3rd Potter musical soon!
