Hell’s Kitchen cuts it to the final five

'Hell's Kitchen' is on its way to the conclusion, with the winner taking over Ramsay's restaurant in Las Vegas. Five are left, and my favorite is still in it! Is yours?

- Season 10, Episode 16 - "6 Chefs Compete"

Finally we don’t have to look at Robyn’s nasty smirk anymore on Hell’s Kitchen. She was up against Clemenza tonight to be sent packing, and as my Gordon Ramsay pointed out? Clemenza has been in front of him many a time. But geez, so has Robyn! The red team hated her and shoved her on the carpet frequently. So Le Chef Hawt switched her to the men’s blue team. She didn’t fare that well over there either, causing all sorts of drama and problems.

Robyn and the gigantic chip on her shoulder were given more chances than I believe she merited. And here’s why:

She was continually pointing fingers at others over the mistakes she herself made, and shouting “sabotage.” She could never take full responsibility for her actions. (Unless she didn’t happen to completely mess something up. Then she was crowing.)

From the beginning I could have told you, and I believe I did tell youthat it was laughable that Robyn even be considered for such an important position as that of head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Steak in Las Vegas. Girl was rude, unprofessional, disgusting in her behavior. (See all the episodes of her and Kimmie getting right up in each other’s grille’s and threatening each other.)

It was a head scratcher for me week after week that she was still standing. Robyn would be more suited as a cook at the Waffle House. Although I’d feel horrible for anyone who had to work with her.

So, onward.

I’m still behind my girl Christina. Notice how well she stepped up and identified most of the ingredients in this week’s challenge.  She’s hell bent on winning, and I believe she has an excellent chance.

My two final thoughts this week are these …

Wasn’t it nice to see that some things never change and that returning chef Russell is still a douchebag?

And! For those of you who’ve been following along with my reviews lo these past couple of years? You’ll be interested to know that I actually was able to talk to My Gordon recently in a conference call! Woot! It’s a long story, and I’ll tell you sometime soon.

I loved seeing the returning runners-up crush it. It gave me hope for an All-Stars season. I’m also glad Robyn is long gone. Next on the chopping block: Clemenza and Barbie.

It seems that Clemenza is like a cat with nine lives, well at least six as per GR. That said, it was impressive that he and Dana teamed up and won the “copy challenge.”
