Tonight’s episode reminds us of questions, choices and loyalties, as we head into the season three finale of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ next week. I’m starting to feel like certain characters are safe, and that’s never a good bet with this show.

Last week brought a rare sighting to broadcast television, in the form of the lowest rated dramatic premiere ever. Amazingly, that was followed by a renewal for the lowest rated show on another network. Meanwhile, over on cable, the going was also slow for the latest from HBO.

The Vampire Diaries – How’s Alaric going to get out of this one?

I’ve got to have faith that ‘The Vampire Diaries’ have not backed themselves into an unsolvable situation. I sit here typing, a difficult feat while on this emotional roller-coaster, hoping that the writers have a plan. If this episode was any indication, the last two episodes of season three are going to be epic.
