Because things like wood stoves, wood logs, and such, never got banned. Those who had them in their house, usually had the common sense to not be stupid with such things. We mostly didn’t have a lot of commercial products in our house. And sadly, I didn’t live to tell about it :P. What have I had issues with? Prescription medications. Sure it’s been mostly me doing stupid things with them. But it’s also been a case of doctors prescribing deadly medications in deadly quantities when it was probably a really bad idea. I didn’t realize it, how were they to realize it? I know myself better than them. Except, they should know enough to know when it’s a bad time to be prescribing large quantities of medications.
