Did NOT like the affection between Dean and Benny – – has Dean TOTALLY lost it? A vampire?!! Since when is he for Team Vampire?! He wasn’t THAT affectionate with the angel, Castiel, and that angel died for him a couple times (and Benny better not replace Castiel). And Dean seemed MORE relaxed hugging Benny, than Sam (look at Dean’s expression, when he’s hugging Sam). Plus, I think there is more to Benny than meets the eye, in a REALLY bad way. Why did seemingly ONLY Benny decide to ‘help’ Dean? Surely OTHERS knew about the human clause (humans being able to escape)? Perhaps it was more than simply wanting out? Perhaps Benny was possibly put up to this by some other big bad wanting to ultimately bring about Dean’s fall, someone we haven’t as yet met? Perhaps Benny is the tool of some unnamed ‘big bad,’ the same way Ruby was the tool of Lucifer?

Finally, what DID Dean do in Purgatory, with Benny? Why is Benny calling him “brother”? Please tell me Dean isn’t, himself, now part monster?

He was pissed that he didn’t look for Kevin as well. Dean doesn’t agree with the decision that Sam made to leave the hunting life. Dean would have taken on that responsibility, but it isn’t fair for Dean to expect that of Sam, whether you or anyone thinks it is right or wrong. Sam is free to make his own choices. There’s lot more to be revealed about the whole situation, that much is for sure. There’s something Sam is not telling Dean. I also don’t necessarily think Dean’s reaction is wrong; in fact, I said that it was true to Dean’s character.

Dean says he spent the whole year trying to bust Sam out of the cage even though he promised he wouldn’t. So Dean’s definitely not hypocritical. Strong words that. And by the way Dean is not unhappy with Sam leaving hunting… he’s pissed that he didn’t try to even look for him. Dean was not dead and Sam at the end of Season 7 did not know for sure he was dead. So the least Dean would expect his brother to do is find out what happened to him. Not busting him out of purgatory is fine (becos of the dangers involved) but not even bothering to find out what happened is totally OOC for Sam. I’m amazed that this writer is actually finding Dean’s reaction wrong. I wonder how she would react if her kin did what Sam did if she disapperared one day. Terrible write up.
