Admittedly, I haven’t been in corporate America for some years, but did the roast of Walter Kendrick seem really weird? Is this like a Hasty Pudding thing where guys dress up as ugly dames? What was that all about?
And yikes, I guess Kendrick has no sense of humor about anything. After one of his cohorts said some pretty racy things during the roast, Kendrick punched him out in the bathroom and gave him a toilet head-butt! This guy reminds me of Tony Soprano.
And what’s his game with Daniel Purcell? Now that Kendrick has paid off Purcell — who henceforth screwed Patty over in court (ruining his changes of having an open relationship with his and Patty’s son) — he wants Purcell back on the team?
I guess he wants to keep him close and keep an eye on him. Is that what you’re getting out of it?

Yeah I just caught up with Damages last night, and you’re right that whole scene was awkward. But not as awkward as getting over the fact that SNL’s Hammond is a hit man.
