Sharks, Holly Hunter, and Russell Brand made my list of clackable items on this week’s See Jane Clack. Read on and see if you agree with my assessments.
Holly Hunter’s hot bod. I’ve been watching Saving Grace off and on since the series started, but the most compelling thing about the show is Holly Hunter. I can’t tell you offhand who the other actors are, because I can’t take my eyes off Holly Hunter. Not only is she one of the best actors working right now, but she looks to be all of 90 pounds –- all muscle. She was on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson last week, and he seemed like a looming giant next to her tiny body. She’s 50 years old, people! Oh, if I were a lesbian….
The shark wrestler. Did anyone see the footage of the guy who wrestled the shark? I work at night a lot, so I happened to see the video on E!, Fox, CNN and several other networks. All I could think was, wow, what a cool story he’s got to tell his buds at the brewpub. “Oh, yeah? Well, I wrestled a shark and won! What did YOU do today?!”
Russell Brand is just weird. You know Russell Brand, that scuzzy-looking British dude who wears lots of necklaces, unbuttons his shirt to his waist, and apparently, never gets near a hairbrush. He was on Chelsea Lately this week, and while she usually hugs her guests no holds barred, she looked like she didn’t even want to touch him. And who can blame her? As she told him, “The way you’re looking at me makes me want to cover up my vagina.” I sure wouldn’t want him getting close to mine. There’s no telling what lives in that hair, and there’s no way I’d want it living in mine.
My Grey’s Anatomy / Private Practice daze. Apologies to anyone looking for my opinion on last week’s Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. Nothing about those two shows is grabbing me right now. I predicted a long time ago that Derek would quit. I don’t really even care that Izzie might die. And I saw the Owen meltdown happening way back, too. As for Private Practice … meh. They had their usual ethical story of the week, and Addison made googly eyes with a new doctor who turned out to be married to her patient. There ya go. Review. Anything about those two shows turning you on right now?
What made you clack this week?
I don’t watch Saving Grace, but I had noticed Holly Hunter in the show’s advertising. I found myself thinking, “Wow. How old is she?”
Holly Hunter has always been very fit. Just watch “The Piano” again and you’ll see she was very muscular then. She is a fabulous actress and does comedy as well as drama. I adore her!
