PodClack – Episode 8: The thumbless hand model

Jay burns the midnight (and morning) oil, once again joining Christy T., Brian Herzlinger, and Rich Keller in this week’s podcast.

Welcome back to another episode of our PodClack podcast. Make sure you tune in and make your friends tune in as well!

This week, comedian Jay Black plays TV Match-up with co-host Christy T.; director Brian Herzlinger reviews Johnny Dangerously; and Rich Keller is… talking about Conan’s move to TBS.

Please keep the comments coming and let us know what you think. Got suggestions? Questions? We’d love to hear ‘em! Make sure you get everyone you know to subscribe to the PodClack in iTunes (and rate us, please!) or via some other feed — we feed Jay’s ego a careful diet of traffic numbers and subscriber count, so let’s not let that sucker die of starvation.

Thanks for listening!

All right CliqueClack, I’m throwing down the gauntlet. I know people are listening to the podclack — put some comments down! Good or bad, I don’t care. I’m a “any attention is good attention” kind of guy (though, to be honest, I _prefer_ good attention).

Alright, I’ve got a word for next week, unless someone hops in and gives another. And no, I am not looking at my cable guide. Instead, I’m using this URL to find a word:

https://www.websitestyle.com/parser/randomword.shtml

That word is: bump.

Well since you discussed the “wonderful” Governor Cristie for a good portion of the podcast I’m suggesting the word Bloated in his honor. I have other Cristie inspired words but I’ll keep those to myself.

I always love hearing more Conan discussion. Regarding the bump, TBS, Conan and his people, and George are all presenting the same story: that Conan wouldn’t even come to the negotiating table unless George was all right with moving to midnight, and that George then called Conan personally to assure him as such. Naturally, we can’t know if any of them are lying and harbor ill feelings, but right now it seems to be a good deal for George, as he’ll get a strong lead-in and his audience (median age 33) shouldn’t be put off watching him an hour later.
