PodClack – Episode 28: Hot Chilean lawyer

In this episode, comedian Jay Black joins Christy T. to talk about the passing of Leslie Nielsen, Christy T. on Twitter (@PodClackChristy), and more; Brian picks a movie on the word "kill" and talks about some of the projects he's got going on.

Welcome back to another episode of our PodClack podcast. Make sure you tune in and make your friends tune in as well, and comment and rate us on our iTunes page!

Every week (or kinda-sorta every week), Brian does a TV guide keyword search based on a word someone leaves in a comment here, so sure you leave a word for Brian’s next movie look-up!

Please keep the comments coming and let us know what you think. Got suggestions? Questions? We’d love to hear ‘em! Make sure you get everyone you know to subscribe to the PodClack in iTunes (and rate us, please!) or via some other feed — we feed Jay’s ego a careful diet of traffic numbers and subscriber count, so let’s not let that sucker die of starvation. You can also check-in via GetGlue!

Thanks for listening!

- I am a local if you consider anyone who lives in NJ as a local. I’m not scared away by the invitation to come on either. I just literally don’t have anytime right now to do it right now. Maybe in the future and as long as Jay doesn’t hug and kiss me.
– I only follow celebrities on twitter really, but I limit who I follow to mainly comedians. I don’t really need to read my friends on twitter because they posting exactly what they post on facebook only with less words. I will follow you guys as a preemptive measure since this podcast will someday be world famous.
– Kill Bill is one of my favorite Tarantino films right behind Reservoir Dogs. I love Pulp Fiction, but it was my arch enemy’s (freshman year of college roommate) favorite movie so I can’t put it near the top to spite him.
– Word for Brian: Space
– Right when Jay started complaining about the editing TBS does on Kill Bill I thought of Conan’s bit with the standards and practices guy.

After listening to the latest PodClack I felt sorry for you guys having only three people who comment. So here I am, not local in the slightest but there ya go.

Anyway, great show as always, keep up the good work guys.

On Community, it’s much more a matter of maturity than of age. Jeff’s supposed to be about 37, and there are certainly 19 year-olds that would be well-matched to him, but Annie is not one of them. She’s so brittle and insecure that she often seems more like a 14 year-old to me.

If you’re just looking to objectify Alison Brie, who is brassy and self-assured, please be content with the “Mission Improbable” episode of My Alibi.

Tying this into last episode’s comments, Production I.G did the animation for all of the Ghost in the Shell series, as well as O-Ren Ishii’s backstory sequence in Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Wasn’t really a Tarantino fan myself until Kill Bill and Grindhouse.

Welcome back, Brian. I’ve already bought tickets to see TRON: Legacy twice at my local IMAX. To commemorate the release of the sequel next week, I think it would be appropriate to review the original TRON next time.

Jay, Conan posts clips and full episodes of his show at teamcoco.com. I heartily recommend catching up via hotel wifi when you’re on the road.
