TV on DVD – Batman, Coach, and Red Green

Another slow week of releases includes 'Batman the Brave and the Bold', 'Coach', 'Red Green', 'The Virginian', 'Snoop Sisters', 'Laramie', and 'Who Do You Think You Are?'. And the pick of the week includes the creepy chick with the syringe.

Holy smokes. The pickings are slim down at the DVD emporium this week. Now, over the years, I’ve burned some serious hours watching episodes of Coach, and it’s a solid show. But when season four of Coach is the big release of the week? That’s a pretty weak week. I’m once again going off the board for the pick of the week. We’re going with horror again, and this time it’s my favorite Japanese horror movie, Takashi Miike’s Audition. After watching that, you’ll never hatch a plan to hold a fake casting call in order to find a hot young girlfriend. Believe me. Of course, if you’re not down with creepy leather bags in the corner that may or may not have a person trapped inside of them … you could always just exercise a little patience. The new Venture Bros set is coming next week.
