There’s your winners, folks. All that’s left is the particulars. Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas are definitely walking away with this season’s trophy on Dancing With the Stars. Why? Well, aside from the fact they she’s the most talented dancer, Mark has surpassed Maks this time around in coming up with the most difficult and imaginative choreography. Of course, Maks doesn’t have the extremely athletic and younger partner that Mark has, but that’s the way the cookie has crumbled this time around0 (snd that wasn’t a “fat jibe” at Kirstie Alley, either. She’s looking fabulous at 70 plus pounds smaller, and I’m giving her mad props).
But! Despite the fact that Kirstie has come a long way since her clunky chunky beginnings, she’s clearly the dark horse here. She should be proud of herself for making it this far, but she doesn’t deserve to win.
Having said that, I wonder if Hines and Kym will pick up some extra votes, for sympathy concerning Kym’s injury last week. They really blew it out this week, especially in their freestyle dance. Kym went for it with the lifts, and Hines is a sure crowd pleaser. So the results should be close. We do have one more dance to complete the judges scores for the season, and if Hines can do well, I mean really well, then it just may sway things in his favor.
We’ll just have to wait and see. I’m remaining loyal to Chelsea, as I’d feel like a chump abandoning her now. And I hate feeling like a chump.
See you after the finale!
I’ve been giving all of my votes to Kirstie this season to get her to the finals and hoping that she could show some vast improvement but she’s just not good enough to be the winner (although she did some impressive lifts in her freestyle, but she lost time a bit coming out of the acrobatics). I like Chelsea but Mark is just too cocky. He doesn’t need another trophy to make his ego swell even more. Hines scored two 30s last week and one this week. To me, he’s the front-runner and I’m voting for him to win.
