I cry foul! What an utterly crappy way to ride back in from break. The Office has been a tremendous disappointment this season, and to not even bother to try for a week? Sure I was laughing last night, but does that make it right? Not in my book. I didn’t hear a single quotable […]
Bob posed an interesting question earlier today: do you miss FlashForward. Without getting into my original answer, after watching tonight’s pilot episode of The Deep End I can tell you this — I’m definitely feeling its absence right now. I won’t say that I was overly excited about The Deep End going in, but I […]

Before I even get into it, I can tell you that I was just as surprised as you’re going to be that I had such a hard time with a major network’s Thursday night lineup. But CBS’s Thursday night went and did the unthinkable — it almost made me pass on it like I did […]
I find it very amusing that chess is always used as a symbol for strategizers, a kind of visual way of saying, “This guy can really think!” It’s a great game, and it definitely takes a ton of forward-thinking, but chess and calculated thought are by no means equitable. Nevertheless, it was fun to watch […]
That was pretty quick for Make It or Break It to do a destination episode. But like Saved by the Bell went to Hawaii or Growing Pains hit Europe, last night’s episode found the girls making a big trip out to Los Angeles for a pool party bash, red carpet and everything. Is this really […]
