Bio: While CliqueClack is my first foray into the blogosphere, it’s just one stop along my long journey in writing. With my first book of short stories bounded via copy machine when I was still a lad, my evolution along the trajectory of writing has far exceeded that of my drawing; that first book was fronted by a rather pedestrian hand drawing of “Leatherhead”, of TMNT fame, and my ability hasn’t grown beyond rudimentary since those days. But the baby’s cute!

Frasier – CliqueClack Flashback

“Sometimes you want to go, where everybody.…” No? Sorry! I think it’s something about “tossed salads and scrambled eggs.” That sounds more like it. I actually wasn’t a Cheers fan, so there’s little that I could say about the broader evolution of Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer), except for this: man did he look young in Boston! […]

NCIS – DiNozzo can’t handle the truth!

Ah, Code Reds. Did anyone else wonder if Jack Nicholson was going to appear at Gibbs’ desk? I’ve never heard of Mischief Night, but it would stand to reason that Tony would be an enthusiast. But would we have (or am I forgetting something) gone six seasons without Halloween at NCIS coming into play? I’m […]

Cold Case – Is Kat really being shown the door?

I finally caught myself up on last week’s episode of Cold Case, which, incidentally, remains the most recent one following this week’s preempting. I think my lapse occurred because it was listed on my TiVo as the 11 O’clock News — stupid overruns are so prevalent on Sunday that we used to tape Cold Case for […]

Greek – Sign me up for Booktacular

If this is how Greek plans to bring Rusty back into the KT fold, they’ve got their work cut out for them. It really was as if he was visiting his brothers for the first time in eons, a fact that all parties involved acknowledged. But becoming the third wheel in Cappie and Lana’s (Olivia […]

Curb – What would you write next to Larry’s name in your BlackBerry?

Seinfeld watchers, take heart: I was fast forwarding through the credits and whatnot at the end of last night’s episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and I saw that not one, but all four (I think Michael Richards was there) of the Seinfeld cast members are scheduled to be on next week’s episode. Unless the show is screwing […]

Strippers, professors, and assistants – for Hank Moody that’s not just role play

The real estate market is a fickle beast, so when you get lucky enough to find and fall in love with something that’s already been built, you pounce on it. In fact, it’s such an unlikely scenario that you should realize just how lucky you are. So why is it that one insignificant little thing will always tank […]

The Office – In tough times, the Godfather sells insurance

If you work in business today, you’re constantly striving for a competitive advantage. Well, businessmen and businesswomen of the world, look no further, because that edge is here: “The Fundamentals of Business,” by Michael Scott. Can you imagine what would hypothetically be included in such a tome of knowledge? You could fill numerous chapters from […]
