Bio: While CliqueClack is my first foray into the blogosphere, it’s just one stop along my long journey in writing. With my first book of short stories bounded via copy machine when I was still a lad, my evolution along the trajectory of writing has far exceeded that of my drawing; that first book was fronted by a rather pedestrian hand drawing of “Leatherhead”, of TMNT fame, and my ability hasn’t grown beyond rudimentary since those days. But the baby’s cute!

Cold Case season 7 – How cold does the case need to be to buy this show some security?

This season of Cold Case might not be pretty for the show, or for us fans. The series went right down to the wire this summer, before CBS graciously saved its life for a seventh season, but that doesn’t mean certain concessions didn’t have to be made, or that Cold Case won’t be on a […]

Californication season 3 – Professor Hank?

Yes, you’re reading that correctly. At least as far as I can tell from the cover of the screener that I have yet to have a chance to screen. Plus Showtime commercials … I’d say it’s a fair bet. So, what the hell, right? I thought maybe I’d forgotten something, but after having just re-watched […]

The Practice virgin’s diary – Anderson Pearson, snooty professor at law, goes to trial for murder

(Season 3, Episodes 1-4) Thanks to everyone who voted, and who shared their opinions last time; your voices have been heard. I think I’m going to try continuing this on a weekly basis, but I will see how my new TV load holds up; presumably, if I begin to crumble under the weight, you are […]

The dude from Prison Break sucks it up on Law & Order: SVU’s premiere

No wonder Prison Break got the axe … too harsh? (Just kidding, folks!) Sorry, but Wentworth Miller — as Detective Nate Kendal — was really terrible on last night’s premiere of Law & Order: SVU. I’ve never seen Prison Break, so I have no idea, but he was definitely not good here. I’m generally not wild about […]

Finally, a long-term case on Criminal Minds

It’s nice when we reconnect with old friends, right? It felt really great to sit back down with our Criminal Minds BAU once again last night. I mean, the psycho-of-the-week was no walk in the park, but you catch my drift. I had apparently totally forgotten that Hotch (Thomas Gibson) was standing at gunpoint as […]

Did NCIS: LA improve over the summer?

I’m proud to say that I went into last night’s premiere episode of NCIS: Los Angeles with absolutely no preconceived notions, or with my mind made up one way or another. Yes, I saw and did not enjoy the two NCIS spin-off episodes last season, but my feelings there were mixed in with the fact […]

So, did Ziva survive to star in season 7 of NCIS?

I have to say, I was kind of disappointed in the premiere of NCIS. Particularly considering how excited I was for it to air. I just felt like everything happened way too fast, and the arc ended (for now) leaving me feeling somewhat dissatisfied. We left off last season with Ziva being tortured, after having […]
