Bio: My time away from the TV is spent in an IT cave doing things that might seem interesting on the surface, but would likely bore you in detail. Along with those lofty pursuits, I'm a huge fan of Mr. Neal Stephenson, have a strange love for Canadian things, and am currently hammering out the tenets for a boob-based-religion. If you need to find me, try looking in one of Seattle's many theatres. This one is my current favorite.

Dollhouse – Who is the mole? What is the attic?

And more importantly… is that the only one? But that’s a subject to be talked about after the jump, so as not to spoil anyone choosing to visit CliqueClack before they finish their television viewing homework. For now, a bit of an introduction. In a week where there was more bad than good press for […]

Kings – If a coup happens in the palace, but nobody bothers to watch…

I don’t know if the coup makes a sound or not. But I do know that if you have a big dollar drama running on Sunday, and you can’t even manage to gather 4 million viewers, you will be sent to TV hell… Saturday… cue daunting music. I’m reminded of the classic Richard Benjamin horror […]

Reaper – Dude, you’re banging a tentacle

This week started off as kind of a bummer for Reaper fans. The word on the street is that the show’s creators, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, have signed a new deal with 20th Century Fox TV. That’s particularly troublesome, given that Reaper is made by ABC Studios, and the new deal requires them to […]

Heroes – Coyote Sands is where it all began

It was a bad week to be in a relationship in the Heroes world. Loving, committed, couples were splitting all over the place. Noah and Sandra, Danko and Elena, Matt and Mohinder… all hitting rough patches. That was, of course, just the framework. The real story was a mix of the excellent (cat and mouse […]

Ratings Clack – NBC has something to cheer about…

… finally. Much of last week could be described as more of the same for the folks over at NBC. But this particular Thursday was different. Not only because of ER taking over the entire night. It also brought a clear win for the night to the network, calling to mind the Must See TV […]

Dollhouse – Give them what they need

It was a strange week down at the Dollhouse, where things were not necessarily what they seemed to be. And that’s a good thing. Despite a couple of nagging questions, that we will get to later, this was an important episode in two respects. First, it gave us some more back story for the actives, […]

Sports on TV – Live, or Memorex? A CC Poll

I’m not really sure how it came to pass, but I just can’t record sports to watch later. The new Lost. The odd Cities Of The Underworld. Even the occasional old Hardy Boys episode. No problem. I’ll watch them when I get a chance. But football, baseball, curling, any form of racing… it just doesn’t […]
