Bio: My time away from the TV is spent in an IT cave doing things that might seem interesting on the surface, but would likely bore you in detail. Along with those lofty pursuits, I'm a huge fan of Mr. Neal Stephenson, have a strange love for Canadian things, and am currently hammering out the tenets for a boob-based-religion. If you need to find me, try looking in one of Seattle's many theatres. This one is my current favorite.

Dollhouse premiere ratings – Place your bets

I imagine that the big event for the average TV viewer this week was probably the premiere of Survivor, or maybe the kickoff to the NASCAR season, if you swing that way (CliqueClack doesn’t judge). But if you are taking time out of your day to visit us here at CliqueClack, you’re no average viewer. […]

CliqueClack Flashback – Cleopatra 2525

Five hundred years in the future, she’ll enter a world where machines rule the earth. Mankind has been driven under ground, and Cleopatra is about to discover, there’s no place like home. That is the voiceover from the opening credits of Cleopatra 2525, and it gives a good basic idea of the story. What it […]

Is there a showdown coming for Sam and Dean?

I think it’s been made perfectly clear that there will be a good vs. evil showdown before season four winds down. With Castiel, Anna, Lilith, Ruby, Uriel, Alastair, and all of those seals in play, something has to give. Another interesting aspect of that though, is the possibility of a little Sam and Dean battle […]

The Closer – Brenda gets a new nemesis, and what wedding?

It was an interesting week down at the Major Crimes Division. This episode actually featured my favorite aspect of The Closer, as well as my one big gripe with the show. On the plus side, Brenda has a new, and I’m assuming, recurring nemesis. It’s a path that has paid dividends before, as we saw […]

Ratings Clack – What were all those Super Bowl promos worth?

(2/1 – 2/7) Turns out, not much. If you watched the big game, you couldn’t have missed the heavy promotion for the new NBC Monday. Chuck, Heroes, and Medium all got plenty of exposure. There was even a song and dance number. The Office got its fair share as well, with the bonus of being […]

Psych – Shawn meets his match, and it’s The Single Guy

Jonathan Silverman is uniquely qualified to appear on Psych as either a guest star, or an off the wall reference. He’s a funny guy, which covers the first bit. And his acting resume includes things like the short lived The Single Guy, Weekend At Bernie’s, and Gimme A Break, which are all right in the […]

Life – That’s how you pay off a cliffhanger

When last we left our old pal Charlie, things could have been better. He’d just opened his front door and some mysterious evil doer went and shot him. Now, we all knew that Charlie was going to live, because really, he is the show. The real question from the cliffhanger was, “Who pulled the trigger?” […]
