I can’t understand why, out of everything that was hilarious and brilliant in this episode, Parker and Stone decided to name it “Margaritaville.” Stan’s journey all the way up to the U.S. Treasury took up a bit of the episode, but it wasn’t until the ending payoff that was worth the wait. But I will […]
I’ll admit right up-front that I’ve never watched The Venture Bros. before. However, when I went to grab the DVD artwork for this post, I had to do a double-take. Is that really as awesome as I think it is? Oh yes, it is. The Venture Bros. season three DVD case is in retro Atari […]
It’s hard to believe that this is likely the last time I’ll be writing a post about Battlestar Galactica. The actors have said their piece already, and creator Ronald D. Well now, this is a little overwhelming. I’ve got three hours of this show — the FINAL three hours — to talk about, and it’s tough to know where to begin. Alright, first, let’s start with the screengrab above. Twenty geek points for anyone who knows who the bearded man is in the picture, minus […]
I know I said last week that I wasn’t going to do a chat during this episode, seeing as it’s two hours long and will be filled with so many revelations that nobody will want to be here. Then I figured that, once the episode is over, you’re all going to want a place to […]
Ivey West is back Clacking for us again, this time about something he usually has a lot to say about every week, though maybe not so much after next week. I would love to say that I’ve been a fan of the new Battlestar Galactica from the second the mini-series premiered. Unfortunately, I missed that […]
