When I first heard about ‘Rizzoli and Isles,’ I was ready to write it off as a traditional, yawn-inducing procedural. Over the course of the last 10 episodes, however, I’ve changed my tune.

No, it’s not a new reality show about a rich family — it’s Tom Selleck heading up a family of cops and it’s quality drama with deep and complex characters, not just your average procedural.
