The pilot script for NBC’s ‘Love Bites’ follows the foibles of re-virgination, human vibration, and celebrity sexual exemptions.

There’s something special about the way this cast has melded in with the formula written for ‘Cougar Town.’ It works every time and I’m looking forward to more come September.

This episode had a “ripped-from-the-headlines” feel as Haddie’s friends harassed Amber in school because Amber slept with Haddie’s ex-boyfriend.

We start this week by taking a look at ‘Cell’ the web series. It’s a dark and twisted world that includes one of my favorite performances. Then we shift gears to preview Elle’s ‘Dirty Little Secrets’, which features the illustrations of CliqueClack’s own Annie Wu!

Because as much as I would love to see more of the regular cast, it is a tough trade off when we get the awesomeness (TM Barney Stinson) that has been the work of guest stars like Idina Menzel, Neil Patrick Harris, and Kristin Chenoweth.

What do you get for a show when you mix a bit of ‘FlashForward’ and perhaps a dash of ‘V?’ ‘The Event’ might just answer that question, if the pilot script is any indication.

‘The Good Guys’ transcends hokey and embraces over-the-top. If you’re looking for a realistic, gritty cop show, go watch ‘Southland.’ For fun, ‘The Good Guys’ is where you need to be.
