‘Shameless’ goes beyond what’s on the characters’ surfaces. There is a lot more taking place than just inane thievery, ranting and aimlessness.

I generally don’t buy into Larry’s crazy thought processes, but the double transgression theory — that Cheryl was already mad at him so why not do something else she’d hate — is a keeper!
