Though there wasn’t a whole lot of movement on the season’s story arc in this episode, there was a lot to like. It also managed to make Dexter and Lumen’s situation a lot more urgent.

With the boys being thrown their senior prom, the writers could have gone in many different directions. They made great use of the longer episode, which makes my job hard — I want to talk about it all!

Normally I gag at holiday episodes before Thanksgiving, but after two and a half months, I’ve finally gotten my Futurama fix. And it’s probably the best holiday episode of any show we’re going to see this year.

The first season of ‘Boardwalk Empire’ is headed toward it’s climax, but before we get there, it seems like the show took a break to focus on some of the minor characters in the show’s large cast.
