Last night’s episode of ‘Rules of Engagement’, while enjoyable as always, hammered home the point that the show suffers for its lack of continuity. At least in my mind.

Cathy longed to create a ‘new and better family’ but her husband’s ill-timed confession put a crimp in Cathy’s plans.

Last week, the Hoff got hassled off the dance floor in the first elimination of season 11 of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ I was hoping he’d last longer, as he was a hoot. Who’ll get the stiletto in the behind as we roll through week two? Here’s what I think….

Can Chuck Bass really be redeemed? Can Serena and Blair make it through an entire episode without fighting? If Dan’s not Milo’s father, who is? Can Eric pull off the bow-tie as well as Chuck?

With week two all the Castle/Beckett romance shenanigans have been put on the back burner (but I’m going to bring them up anyway) as the team deals with the murder of a psychic. Did she predict her own murder?

‘HIMYM’ uses a solid guest cast this week to help erase the bad taste of what I now like to call the Charlie Brown episode last week.

Taub sarcastically asks House if the world would be better off if everyone were selfish. Later, House tells Taub yes, based on the medical case … but we’ll get to that in a minute. It turns out that the hospital will also be better off if both House and Cuddy are a little more selfish.
