Storylines that ran off in their own odd directions, arcs that were barely developed and then completely ignored, and more Sam Merlotte than anyone should ever have to deal with defined this season of ‘True Blood.’

Is anyone else starting to get the impression that Turtle’s plot line is the result of the producers wondering what story they could shoehorn the most famous faces into?
