‘The Chicago Code,’ despite taking some knocks, is a damn fine show. Tonight, is another example of that, and reminds us the show shouldn’t be all about Gibbons.
Spencer? You’re my hero. Not only because you endured a trauma tonight, but also because you defied your stuffy family by planting a big wet one on someone right in front of them! When there’s a festival involved, big things happen.
I found this week’s episode much more enjoyable than last week, which is a big reason why I didn’t write about it. For a return episode, I didn’t find last week to be as compelling as I’d hoped, though the show made up for it this week.
Does House have faith in his own ability to heal? Does he have faith in Cuddy’s ability to forgive? In Wilson’s ability to stick by him through thick and thin? Why is George Michael playing a soundtrack throughout my head?
Each week I review a show that’s new to me. Good idea, or punishment (mine or yours)? You be the judge. But either way, if I had to watch it, the least you can do is read what I have to say….
The penultimate installment of ‘Big Love’ was one preposterous mess. Seriously, the show deserved better than this.
I never watched ‘The X-Files’, but I have to imagine that David Duchovny was getting a little wink in at his character, Fox Mulder, when he dressed up in his black suit with his hair combed like that. He did indeed look like an FBI agent!
