This week’s ‘Hawaii Five-0′ was decidedly run-of-the-mill … but at least it should garner Scott Caan another award nomination.

NBC’s new drama has been getting a lot of hype for months now. Was it worth it? I certainly thought so. Now we’ll see if the viewers agree.

The crew of ‘Castle’ takes a trip back to 1947 to solve a case. I loved each of the characters taking on different roles … and Tamala Jones has got some pipes!

When ‘How I Met Your Mother’ steps up to the plate and takes a swing at a non-linear story like this one, they often hit it out of the park. ‘The Burning Beekeeper’ is another example of that excellence.

The depth with which the characters on ‘House’ are mined never ceases to amaze me. They’ve managed to show incredible character growth in a definitive ass and have it be believable, while exploring the way House effects all the other characters on the show. But they’ve never done it quite like this before. …

What did I learn from this week’s ‘The Voice’ premiere? That season 2 has a pretty good chance of being as great as the phenomenon that was season 1.

Why didn’t last year’s shows with African-American leads do well? Could I have done something to support them? Were ‘Undercovers,’ ‘Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior’ and ‘HawthoRNe’ really that bad?
