While tonight’s ‘House’ posits that everyone’s parents screw them up, I have a slightly different theory. Granted, it’s not nearly as entertaining, but as a daughter and a parent, that little thing called ‘personal responsibility’ kept eating away at me.

Get your notebooks and pencils ready, it’s time for a lesson in major plot arcs and how to close them (or not) – ‘Merlin’ style.

With one more episode before its mid-season finale, ‘Desperate Housewives’ offers up a lukewarm chapter full of drama, crazed ex-boyfriends, scattered dreams, broken hearts, and a return to the booze for a certain redheaded housewife.

While I wondered who’s more sinister — Rumpelstiltskin or The Evil Queen — we were introduced to Cinderella and Ashley, her pregnant Storybrooke incarnation.

This week we learn about: 1) The proper way to eat squirrel (raw); 2) Merle (he’s just as raw as ever); and 3) What rubs Herchel raw.

This week’s episode of ‘Boardwalk Empire’ was full of plot turns that I certainly didn’t see coming, but a brush with death and the death of someone close to him changed Nucky’s perspective on things … or perhaps it just changed his strategy.
