After a first episode that was nothing but empty calories, ‘Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition’ found a compelling subject in 23-year-old Alex, who made the episode gripping, uplifting and, yes, inspiring!

‘Masterchef’ is back on FOX for its second season, and I couldn’t be happier to see my Gordon Ramsay again. He’s much nicer on this show … I promise!
