As much as I’ve been knocking ‘Gossip Girl’ lately, I was really impressed with the show this week — especially after seeing the preview for next week’s finale. Bring it!

Who knew that popping up unexpected at your spouse’s workplace could be so dangerous? Michael’s mere presence led Claudia Joy to come clean, but how about the way Trevor found out about Witt? I saw that punch coming!

It doesn’t take an Act of God to get me to watch a program like ‘Glee’ … just something interesting like, say, a character death.

While Marlee’s standup was funny — it really was — I can’t help but think that if her interpreter Jack wasn’t as dramatic as he is, she never would have scored with her comedy. I wonder if he’s ever considered a Hollywood career.

It’s the teacher! No, his pregnant wife! Wait … Stan’s sidekick was acting suspicious. And Mitch’s sister was acting fishy … I have no idea but am enjoying the ride.

Overall, the first full week of sweeps was a bit slow. The big surprise came as NBC’s ‘The Voice’ managed to improve on what was an outstanding debut the week before. Over on cable, can you imagine ‘L&O CI’ on USA beating new ‘L&O LA’ on NBC?
