There’s certain to be tons of drama, surprises and grown-inducing fodder on ‘Idol’ this season. And whining about the loss of Simon Cowell and “Things just won’t be the same without him!” won’t fly, so just shut it and get watching already.

Who says you can’t leave an event before dessert is served? That’s bogus! Larry might have been ridiculous pulling a Finch at Funkhouser’s anniversary party, but people can leave parties whenever they want to.

Earlier this week, I talked the things I hated about the year in television, but today I try (and fail) to scrape together ten things that I love.

A couple of weeks ago we had five-or-so days of primo ‘Veronica Mars’ tribute content. I feel I did the show a disservice of not posting something of my own, so I’m making up for it now.
