‘V’ finished its first (and not last) season this week with twists, turns, and more than a few surprises.

This episode had a “ripped-from-the-headlines” feel as Haddie’s friends harassed Amber in school because Amber slept with Haddie’s ex-boyfriend.

‘Lost’ returned to form just in time to set up the finale.

What do you get for a show when you mix a bit of ‘FlashForward’ and perhaps a dash of ‘V?’ ‘The Event’ might just answer that question, if the pilot script is any indication.

‘The Good Guys’ transcends hokey and embraces over-the-top. If you’re looking for a realistic, gritty cop show, go watch ‘Southland.’ For fun, ‘The Good Guys’ is where you need to be.
