It’s that time of year again … when the award shows launch the year and awkward speeches and sequined gowns flow liberally across our television screens. Did you watch this hot mess?

Katy Perry is set to guest star on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ later this season, and there are two things I know for sure that I want to see.

I got to visit the set of USA’s new show starring Sarah Shahi and Michael Trucco, ‘Fairly Legal,’ while I was in Vancouver on the ‘Psych’ set visit. A new show’s set definitely has a different vibe than an established show’s set.

I’m trying to figure out who, exactly, would find any entertainment value in a program such as this. And I’m coming up blank.
