The mid-season premieres continue to roll out, but not with the numbers that the networks might have been hoping for. ‘The Cape’ and ‘Off The Map’ both had less than stellar starts this week, while Bob’s Burgers took a hand-off from the NFL and scored big.
Some great writing and guest stars Polly Bergen, Larry Hagman and Gregory Itzin make this a pretty solid episode about aging, loneliness and the spectre of death.
‘Bob’s Burgers’ second effort gets better and more outrageous than the first. I’m intrigued by the blond man on the roller skates in nothing but his underwear.
‘Shameless’ goes beyond what’s on the characters’ surfaces. There is a lot more taking place than just inane thievery, ranting and aimlessness.
The “Child Molester” Burger (comes with candy) – Louise’s Burger Of The Day put on the chalkboard in place of Bob’s original entry
This is something that’s been brewing in my brain since November. I might get some flack for it, but I am tired of keeping quiet about it. I am making a stand … Penny frustrates the hell out of me!
Coming attractions at the Globe Theatre, Pee-wee and Andy do shots, and Ceel Lo sings ‘Forget You.’ It’s another episode of ‘SNL,’ and we’ll have the videos here when they’re released!
