While I’m becoming an increasingly jaded ‘Private Practice’ viewer, I did feel badly about all the horrific garbage with which Addison has to deal.
An exciting week found personal records being set on cable (‘Pawn Stars’) and broadcast (‘NCIS’). In not so happy news, the return of full schedules didn’t do any favors for NBC’s Thursday comedies, or FOX’s ‘Fringe’.
While watching this episode, nearly every character, with the exception of Charlotte and Sheldon, thoroughly irritated me. This seems to be a growing ‘Private Practice’ trend.
There’s a distinct trend that suggests legal dramas are the up-and-coming thing, while medical dramas may be on the outs. Here’s an idea: have an original one instead of riding on the coattails of others’ successes and there’d be enough of everything to go around.
ABC had me in a tizzy when ‘Mr. Sunshine’ was set to take over ‘Cougar Town’s’ time slot. Why I shouldn’t have been worried….
The Visitors are back, and we now know one thing for sure. Red Rain doesn’t do anything to boost ratings. On the other hand, people falling is still a crowd pleaser. ‘Winter Wipeout’ debuted to huge numbers.
‘Private Practice’ seems like it’s trying to corner the market on storylines which reward bad, irrational behavior and there are no signs it’ll be letting up anytime soon.
