The Middle – Why didn’t Brick try out to play a munchkin?

While I can’t say I’m always on-board with Sue’s antics, I do love how sad her history is with tryouts and failures (she should keep a chart somewhere). But a community theater director who takes all kids saying “I’m gonna have to let Sue go?” Now that’s an accomplishment!

Covert Affairs – Things get complicated for everyone!

This week on ‘Covert Affairs,’ the sexy Mossad agent, Eyal, returns. Why is he in the US and will Annie fall for him?

The X Factor – Not rock

Rock songs were the theme on ‘The X Factor’ this week. I think. I mean, the host Steve Reallybad kept telling me that. Loudly! Hmmm.

American Horror Story – Let’s not put that on the listing

More history is revealed about our mysterious Murder House, while more of the Harmon family learns about it as well. And what a cringe-worthy episode it was!

Homeland’s Carrie Mathison is the worst

‘Homeland’ has made a giant splash this season, and I’m really enjoying the show. Well, all of it except for Claire Danes’ Carrie Mathison. Do you find her as irritating as I do? Why can’t she ever take a step back and think for a minute!

NCIS – The one that stretched all bounds of the imagination

How ridiculous was Ziva talking to the two girls in, what, universal Arabic? Because such a thing exists? I’m guessing Afghanistan alone has hundreds of dialects, most derived from Persian. So, same difference?

Parenthood – A tantrum for the ages

Of all the ‘Parenthood’ episodes thus far, I identified with this one the most because of that fabulous Sydney tantrum scene. It was awesome.

Smart writing saves New Girl from being overly cute

The same writing that almost doomed it from sickly sweetness successfully saved it from plunging down a hole. For that, I am appreciative.
