I was highly anticipating this new show, which follows actress Kirstie Alley around in “real life.” It’s on A&E, which is a bizarre choice. But I auto-tuned, and the Mr. and I set ourselves in. And I have to say, I had some problems….
‘In Plain Sight,’ ‘Saving Grace,’ ‘Glee’ … in CliqueClack’s guide to the Spring 2010 premieres we have the return dates and times for all of these shows, plus many more. And the handy-dandy calendar returns!
‘Recon’ may not have been my favorite episode of the final season of ‘Lost,’ but there were definitely some moments worth talking about: the locked compartment in the submarine and Kate and Locke’s discussion on the beach.
Daylight savings kicked in and knocked ‘Chuck’, and a number of different shows, for a loop. Meanwhile, over on cable, premieres for ‘Justified’ and ‘South Park’ set some very high marks.
Season three of ‘Breaking Bad’ picks up several days later from where we left off, and the odd opening scene alone will give you flashes of last season’s mysterious pink stuffed animal in the pool.
My biggest problem is that we really haven’t been given a chance to really get to know the characters enough. Hell, at this point it is still pretty damn hard to tell the characters apart.
Sex and kissing. That’s what three out of four of my clips revolve around, but it was a big week for both. Lost is a little weird, Ugly Betty shouldn’t be canceled, The Office is on the way up, and Chuck is just awesome (or Awesome). These shows definitely did not suck this week.
“I didn’t do those things, by the way.” – Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, to everyone he served during the first competition on ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’
I loved Michael Nouri’s performance as Kahlan’s father, even though the writers’ reinvented Kahlan’s history. I also like the fact that Sister Nicci’s role continues to expand.
Maybe it’s just me, but things seemed to pick up and get more interesting in this episode. Maybe it was the newly Amp-ed up Adama that made New Cap City a whole lot more interesting.
