As if there weren’t already enough questions in need of answering on ‘Persons Unknown,’ we got a few more that would benefit from being checked off before the end of the series.
Another slow week for the networks means the big story was over on cable. ‘Mad Men’ kicked off another season, but how would Don Draper stack up against the ratings power of Snookie?
It looks like Ivey isn’t alone in picking ‘Covert Affairs’ as the best show of the summer. In its second episode, the ratings were up, landing it well ahead of ‘White Collar.’ ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ had a pretty good second week as well.
The big news this week was on cable, with six big premieres. The new shows, ‘The Glades’, ‘Covert Affairs’, and ‘Rizzoli & Isles’, looked very good next to ‘White Collar’, ‘Psych’, and ‘The Closer’.
With nothing too exciting happening on the networks, the biggest news this week was on cable, where Syfy premiered ‘Warehouse 13,’ ‘Eureka,’ and ‘Haven.’ Spoiler: They’re all going to spend the summer being hammered by ‘Pawn Stars.’
It was a rather quiet week in the ratings as we made our way into July. The networks were par for the course and the big news on cable was the decided lack of viewers for Showtime’s ‘L-Word’ spinoff.
The NBA Finals again made for a banner week over at ABC. On cable, HBO execs can breathe a sigh of relief. The return of ‘True Blood’ means someone is watching again. And TV Land found success with their first original sitcom.
