Eat some cheese today

This is probably not going to be a hard thing for people to do. After all, cheese is a big ingredient in a lot of meals. If you’re having a sandwich, there’s a good chance there’s cheese in it. If you’re having a pizza, there’s probably cheese on top of that. If you’re at a party, I bet there are wedges of cheese on a platter on a table. If you’re having pasta tonight, I bet you’ll use some sort of grated Parmesan on top of that. If you’re having Nutter Butters and beer for dinner, well, I can’t help you there.

Today is National Cheese Lover’s Day. I could list thousands of recipes to celebrate this day (at least), but let’s start with a Decadent Chocolate Cheesecake from Kraft. How about a classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese recipe from Alton Brown? Here’s a Bacon and Potato Breakfast Pizza from The Pillsbury Bake-off (I had to get a pizza recipe in but wanted to give one with a twist), and My Recipes has a bunch of cheese-oriented appetizers, dips, and spreads, including this Rosemary Cheese with Fig Preserves spread. I love anything with rosemary in it.

As for me, I think I’m going the pizza route tonight. With extra cheese.
