A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All – CliqueClack Giveaway

We here at CliqueClack are in a giving mood. Maybe it’s the holiday cheer in the air, or perhaps it’s because the mood was transmitted to us like malaria or tuberculosis by Stephen Colbert and friends, via his TV special, A Colbert Christmas. I don’t know, I’m not that good with understanding how television works. Either way, this is good news for you readers out there, because here’s your chance to bring home the goodness!

We’re giving away two copies of A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All on DVD. All you have to do is leave a comment below before this Friday, December 12 at 5 PM EST, telling us what your favorite thing is about Stephen Colbert or The Colbert Report.

We’ll pick winning comments completely at random and alert the winner next week. Only one entry per person and you must have a valid U.S.-based mailing address. Not following the guidelines above voids your entry.

Good luck!

Let me be the first to say….Stephen Colbert is the greatest gift of all.

December 7, 2008 at 10:13 PM

My favorite thing about Stephen Colbert is his one weird ear.

December 7, 2008 at 10:17 PM

He’s literally the best thing since sliced bread. The world would be a much sadder place without him.

December 7, 2008 at 10:18 PM

I love Colbert because I am a true patriot. He helps us see the light of truth through the dark of the liberal elite.

December 7, 2008 at 10:31 PM

I will give you my first born child for that (and last born and middle born, if any) – In fact, I’ll adopt several and hand them over if I can grab a SCC copy!

P.S. My fav thing is his White House Speech.

December 7, 2008 at 10:33 PM

I love Stephen Colbert because he is so funny. He finds ways to make the world make sense, but in a hysterical way. He has so much talent to portray something he’s not and make it look realistic. He is truly an inspiration to me.

December 7, 2008 at 10:37 PM

I love Stephen Colbert because he has balls of steel. Patriotic, American balls of steel. ;]

December 7, 2008 at 10:40 PM

The main reason why I love Stephen so much is how composed he is. He is literally two people in one — rarely does his real self affect how he plays his character, which makes his character breaks so much more enjoyable and special.

That brings me to the next point: when you are a new to Colbert and his show, you see this arrogant self-important man who seems just too on-the-edge with patriotism and you think, wow, what happened to this guy? Then you go do some research and find out sweet, how different he is from that guy on TV. Personally, I envy how he is able to keep both personalities so divided, so unique that you can’t believe they’re both the same person.

I also admire the fact that Stephen’s the only guy who can trash-talk people and still be one of the most inspiring, most influential people of our time.

I love this man! Cheers to Stephen.

December 7, 2008 at 10:58 PM

The atone phone that he pulls out every Yom Kippur.

There are a million reasons why I love Stephen. But if you’re making me pick just one… I love his character breaks. He obviously tries so hard to keep himself together, but there are those times when he just can’t do it. And it’s really, really, ridiculously cute. His smile is adorable.

December 8, 2008 at 6:04 PM

I like how smarmy he is; and how cartoonish his conservative facade is.

December 11, 2008 at 8:56 PM

We watched A Colbert Chrismas, and everyone, from kids to adults, laughed hysterically for the whole hour. Toby Keith’s “A War on Christmas” is an instant classic.

The man is fearless and funny. What he does is brilliant … rather than argue with the right wing pundits, he points out their idiocy by agreeing with them. His White House speech calling out the President may have been his greatest and bravest moment. Long live the Colbert Nation!

December 11, 2008 at 9:07 PM
