Tonight on the Tube – Chuck, T:TSCC, Heroes say goodbye for awhile

Spotlight Show of the Night

Heroes (NBC, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central, Fall Finale) – Tonight, it all comes down to this in the final chapter (I believe) of “Villains.” Arthur Petrelli may be dead, but you know how well death sticks on this show. Nevertheless, this chapter of Heroes comes to a close tonight and we set the stage for the next. The show has really come together stronger these past few weeks. Tonight’s blurb says that the Petrelli brothers face off and Nathan makes a move with global implications.

Beginnings, Endings & Specials

Cat Dancers (HBO, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central) – A 90-minute special looking at the sole survivor of an exotic-cat act recalls his days with the troupe, the challenges of training wild animals and the bond the three performers had, which was romantic all the way around, before a white bengal tiger tore it all apart.

Chuck (NBC, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central, Fall Finale) -When Chuck and the rest of the gang at the Buy More are taken hostage inside the store on Christmas Eve, it’s up to Casey and Sarah to stage a daring rescue. But does Chuck want to be rescued at the expense of his colleagues and friends?

Drama High: The Making of a High School Musical (ABC, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central) -Don’t let ‘em fool you with the fancy title. This is a 2-hour episode of 20/20. But do you see those last three words in the title. That’s marketing, baby. The musical this particular high school is putting on is The Wiz, which has nothing to do with the multimillion dollar Disney franchise. But look at those three words there. Makes you want to go buy the merchandise, doesn’t it?

I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown (ABC, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central) – Rerun skips out on the Christmas festivities at the Van Pelt house to spend Christmas with Snoopy and his brother Spike in this 2003 Peanuts holiday special.

Intervention (A&E, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central, 6th Season Premiere) -The season premiere features a chick named Janet who’s vice is alcoholism. The rest is, well, an intervention on her behalf. So lots of crying and hugging and offering her a dr– wait, that’s a terrible idea.

My Own Worst Enemy (NBC, 10:00 p.m./9:00 p.m. Central, Series Finale) – While Tom meets someone who knows his alter ego, the malfunctioning Edward finds a way he may be able to control his changes into and out of Henry, but it’s pretty risky. Hell, it’s your last episode anyway. I say go for it. What’s the worst that could happen? You won’t be around next week?

Real Chance of Love (VH1, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central, 1st Season Finale) -In this finale, it’s time for the ladies to head home and meet the parents of Real and Chance. But this being a VH1 love-competition show, you know the ladies get all nasty and blow that first impression. That way they can go to Charm School next and keep their 15 minutes going.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys (ABC Family, 7:00 p.m./6:00 p.m. Central) – This 2001 animated “sequel” of sorts to the original Rudolph special wasn’t three times as good, but it is three times as long.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central, Fall Finale) – Cameron’s a robot and robots don’t get jealous, right? Well, maybe she’s malfunctioning because she’s got a response to Riley’s closeness to John. Meanwhile, Sarah finally gets to the bottom of the three dots symbol.
