Play Bachelorette with Covert Affairs’ Annie Walker

Vote in our poll and help us (and maybe the network?) choose the most eligible bachelor for Annie Walker.

On USA Network’s new hit drama Covert Affairs, rookie CIA agent Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) takes the spy world by storm and looks stunning in a pair of Christian Louboutins, yet hasn’t had the best of success with men. However, she finds herself frequently surrounded by some very attractive eligible bachelors, which  has “shippers” taking sides over whom they think Annie should engage in a romance.  Below are the most popular options.  Vote in the poll for who you think Annie should choose!

Jai Wilcox (Sendhil Ramamurthy )

Pros: The son of former CSD director Henry Wilcox, Jai is a dashing Second Generation CIA man, and former Yale lacrosse star, with plenty of agency experience and connections which would serve Annie well on her career path.
Cons: Burdened by living in his father’s shadow, and often acts like a “company man,” remaining more loyal to protocol than to his teammates. His assignment to “get close to Annie” leads one to wonder if his advances are sincere or if he’s just following orders.  His frequent attempts at flirtatious banter sometimes come off less charming than they do creepy.

Ben Mercer (Eion Bailey)

Pros:  Ben is a handsome and charming guy that Annie met on her world travels, and with whom she shared a scorching, three-week long romance.  Two years later, Annie is still in love with Ben, and vice-versa.
Cons:  Ben left Annie in the middle of the night, leaving her only a cryptic note.  Absent for two years, he reappeared suddenly under mysterious circumstances, not to ask for forgiveness, but to ask for a favor and plant seeds of distrust in her CIA superiors.   Also, murdered a potential key CIA asset for reasons yet unknown.

FBI Agent Rossabi (Noam Jenkins)

Pros:  Agent Rossabi is an attractive, tough and strong G-man, with little tolerance for inter-agency politics.  He’s got a great sense of humor and seems to have no real emotional baggage of which to speak.  He has no ties to the agency, which could be a breath of fresh air for Annie.
Cons:  Agent Rossabi has tried to have charges pressed against Annie twice.  Appears to be a by the book kinda guy, which could make life difficult for Annie in her job.

Auggie Anderson (Christopher Gorham)

Pros:  Auggie is a former Special Ops agent who understands Annie better than anyone.  He’s Annie’s guide and confidant within the agency, and offers her the best advice on how to navigate the CIA bureaucracy and handle living a double life.  Plus he’s got great hair and abs of steel.
Cons:  Auggie also has a tortured romantic past, which could add too much to Annie’s already romantically-challenged confusion.  The two work so closely together that a romantic relationship could further blur the lines between personal and work, and hinder their judgment when it comes to missions.

No One

Pros:  As a rookie Agent, Annie is still too green and needs to focus on developing her skills and expertise for the agency, not to mention learning to juggle double lives, before she considers putting any focus on a romantic relationship.   She also does not get over relationships very easily, given her two year attachment to a three week love affair, and needs to straighten out her emotions.
Cons:  Could leave her feeling very lonely if she can’t enjoy the luxury of emotional intimacy with someone.

I’m an A/A shipper but it’s not time yet so I voted for No One for now.

I’m with you all the way, the only difference being I voted for Auggie to show that I feel they’ll eventually be together.

Fun show. We call it “Alias Lite” around here, just to be silly.

Yes. No one yet. Maybe a new character next season. “Deep throat” type (mysterious) feeding her information that changes her views on the AGENCY. Played by an older (but not too much) seasoned hollywood pro (hunk). She deserves no less.

PS in real life I would be her bf in a NY millisecond. LOL

I think Annie and Auggie have really good chemistry and I’d like to see them together….eventually. Right now I like how they help each other and the sweet way he mentors her. It just seems like he really understands her.

I do like the relationship between Annie and Auggie. They have amazing chemistry and play off each other well, but….I don’t want to see them together. I think they are much better off as “best buddies”. I could see them standing up for each other when they do get married…to other people.

But, I also have a feeling that by the end of season 2 and into season 3, I could buy a friendship, a camaraderie that would naturally progress into a romantic and sexual relationship. Right now, I don’t want to see it. At all!

Annie & Auggie FTW (long run win, but win nonetheless!). Although “heat” is generated with Ben and I navigate toward bad boys.

I love Auggie and Annie and I see a perfect future where they are together…but right now they are too deep in their own issues, the other guys are just not right (eventhough Ben is extremely hot) Annie needs to be by herself, become a great operative and then hook up with Auggie!!! XD

Ben is beautiful and I really hope there is much more of Ben and Annie….They seem to have an epic romance and it would be incredible to develop that (and a big mistake not to). Auggie is absolutely adorable and sexy and my favorite character probably of all time! I would love to see a potential romantic “encounter” with Auggie and Annie due to an intense close quarter mission of some sort (did I mention how sexy Auggie is?)…but ultimately their friendship made stronger because of it. …and it makes the show that much more interesting seeing Jai (beautiful man as well) develop possibly true feelings for Annie. Romantic angst tends to be riveting! LOVE this show and am just so sorry we have to wait until next summer to see more of it!!!!

Ben all the way, they still love each other after two years. I think its an interesting storyline and that they should end up together. As much as I love Auggie and think he is hot, I think a romantic relationship with Annie would make a work environment tense and awkward. I also don’t think best friends and romantic partners are interchangeable – they’d only have one chance. Sorry but I think the other guys have less chance, sorry.
Ben/Annie all the way!
