“A”, as in Alonzo, who reveals that he may not be quite as perfect as he seems. Interesting? Not really.
The big news this week was a 22 episode renewal for ‘Fringe’. If you follow the ratings, that probably comes as a bit of a shock. What could FOX have up its sleeve? My best guess, they are going to finally actually try on Friday, and move ‘Bones’ to join ‘Fringe’.
After weeks of lurking in the background, the relationship between Alice and Alonzo gets the spotlight on this week’s ‘Mr. Sunshine.’
As has become the norm, when the weather gets nice and the clocks spring forward, television ratings take a hit. We saw it again this week as ‘Idol’ hit a surprising low, and the newly renewed NBC comedies took a ratings boot to the crotch.
Lingerie football (yes, that exists) provides the backdrop for this week’s episode as Ben and Crystal explore their co-dependence, Roman courts Heather (again? still?) while Alice and Alonzo are basically useless (again? still?). Plus, the show takes its’ first timid leap into stuntcasting!
As we turn the clocks forward, the spring premieres are getting fired up on the networks, including ‘Secret Millionaire’, ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, and the return of ‘The Event’. On cable, ‘Breakout Kings’ debuted, and ‘Stargate Universe’ is back.
I realize after last week’s “Come on, guys. Let’s give ‘em a chance” post on ‘Mr. Sunshine,’ I might be setting myself up for failure going forward with the show if it didn’t improve and deliver the goods. After seeing the previews for last night’s episode, I didn’t have a good feeling going into it.
