57. I read the book as a child. As an adult, I can actually say that many of the themes in the book and the way Fitzgerald captured the frailty of human nature, it had an impact on me. I also saw the version starring Redford and want to see how well DeCaprio plays the part of Jay.

59. I read the book years ago and was transported to a world I will never know. I have seen the 1974 and 1949 movies and would like to compare these three against the book. The 1929 silent version, now lost, was said to be the version most close to the book. I want to see if the long wait for this movie is worth it.

80. Hello!! I would absolutely LOVE to see the Great Gatsby in Virginia Beach! It is my favorite book of all time. I’ve read it at least 30 times, and I can frequently be found quoting it.
