One of my earliest memories of a TV crush most definitely has to be Marcia from The Brady Bunch. In fact, I don’t think there were many boys my age at the time who didn’t have the same crush. Dear Lord, I think I remember I wanted to find a way to make her my girlfriend. But then I snapped to reality, realized Marcia was really some actress named Maureen, and that I was watching reruns, which meant she was really around 80-years old.
Would I have had that kind of crush on Marcia, had I known she was whoring herself out for snorts of cocaine? I’m not even sure I knew what cocaine was back then. Sadly, I didn’t know what a whore was either.
In a memoir that Maureen McCormick put out recently, she goes into how she gave out sex for drugs and — as I think only the whole universe figured out years ago anyway — slept with Barry Williams (Greg Brady). There are a few other crazy nuggets in there, too, like trips to the Playboy Mansion. How the hell did Hef not talk her into posing in all those years? Let’s just let whatever offers he may have given stay in the ’70s, for the love of God, shall we?
I’m sure there’s a good joke in here about that episode with Marcia getting a fat nose from a football, but I’m too busy wrapping my brain around Marcia dating Steve Martin and partying with Sammy Davis Jr.

I really didn’t know any of that about Maureen McCormick. I think my head just exploded.
Well my mother had her pegged waaay back. She always said, “A girl who wears her skirt that short is probably fast.” I always laughed, but then she was right about our school librarian and school principal too.
I remember seeing her on Inside Herman’s Head on Fox in the early 90’s. She didn’t look too bad then for a coc whore.
Are you crazy? You gotta be lying. No way dude! I used to be in love with watching her on the Brady Bunch…:-(
