Well, I’ve never watched Donna Reed so I would like to just for the hell of it! LOL.

October 29, 2008 at 9:24 AM

I’d like to win because it’s always nice to have movies of the world’s greatest Mom in your house.

October 29, 2008 at 9:42 AM

I would like to win it because it is a classic. My kids like it when they can find it on.

October 29, 2008 at 10:19 AM

With three kids all under the age of three, Donna Reed is someone I aspire to emulate, but sadly enough, I never come even close. I wish my home could be clean, and my kids could be quiet, and my food would taste good like in her home, but I am not holding my breath. If I win this, maybe I can indulge in a little escapism and “pretend”.

A nice wholesome family show

October 29, 2008 at 10:38 AM

I used to watch this show and would love it for my collection…thanks for the great giveaway

October 29, 2008 at 10:42 AM

I love classic tv shows, and collect as many as I can. The Donna Reed Show hasn’t gotten as much airtime on “classic” tv channels as other shows of its era, so I’m sure there are episodes on this set that I haven’t seen. Long live glorious black and white!

October 29, 2008 at 10:49 AM

i want to win this becuz i am very “fussy” about what my kids watch so we don’t have tv but rather watch tapes. they have seen everything we own a million times so new stuff would be fantastic!

October 29, 2008 at 10:52 AM

It’s an oldie but goodie. Thanks for the chance to win!

October 29, 2008 at 11:03 AM

We only got 2 channels when I was growing up, and neither broadcast The Donna Reed Show. (Of course, I’m sure it was on past my bedtime. Most of the “good shows” were.) I’ve seen a few episodes in reruns over the years, but not many. Time to make up for that.

October 29, 2008 at 11:10 AM

i am old enough to remember this series and its one of my favorites

October 29, 2008 at 11:15 AM

I’d like to win this for my hubby’s grandma. She is in an assisted living home, and just got a DVD player:-)

October 29, 2008 at 11:54 AM

I remember watching this show when I was very young. Back then television was so simple and innocent. Watching these old series from the 50s, 60s and early 70s brings back fond memories for me. Those were the days when television shunned sex and violence and we as a society were better off because of it. Remember that back then even married couples couldn’t be shown even sitting on a bed unless both feet were on the floor.

October 29, 2008 at 12:06 PM

I would like to have some nice wholesome shows in my house.

October 29, 2008 at 12:06 PM

I used to watch this show with my grandmother who I lived with.We loved that show.My Grandmother passed away 8 years ago but I would love to have this dvd to watch because it holds fond memories from the past!

October 29, 2008 at 12:09 PM

October 29, 2008 at 12:21 PM

Ah, Donna Reed. My husband used to joke all the time when we first got married about why I didn’t appear at the door in pearls and heels like Donna Reed. Then, years later I saw that Gilmore Girls episode, that Damn Donna Reed and I realized that many, many people had this as the image of the perfect housewife.

November 5, 2008 at 1:25 AM

this was a regular show in our home

November 5, 2008 at 1:36 AM

Grandma loved this show so I of course had to watch it with her, I did not appreciate it back then. Fast forward to a few years ago I was ‘adult-sitting’ an elderly lady. She had no tv signal at her home so I taped shows and brought them to her. I did some eBay purchasing and got a few old shows, one of them was some of the Donna Reed show. While sitting watching them with her I was finally grown up enough to understand why Grandma loved this show so much. I would love to be able to see the whole set. Thank you for the chance to win and to go down memory lane.

November 5, 2008 at 6:57 PM

This may sound weird, but my late Grandma retired to Hollywood, Florida, and lived a block away from Donna Reed. This was a great source of pride to her. Also, as little kids, her TV show was one of the few we were allowed to watch – so my nostalgia makes this “prize” a real true prize!
